“I have had the Rennstand, 4 of them, for several years to get one car off the ground safely. The Rennstands are robust, and that is understating the quality of them. I found the universal pinch weld pad would not work with one car and purchased additional pads to fit. No issues whatsoever. Another car presented problems with deep access to the jacking points and little room between those points and the side skirts. I reached out to Rennstand.com customer service and asked if they thought their Castle Pad (18M-P05) would be viable. They responded in 1 business day, researched the jacking points of the car and getting into the forums for it, and suggested their new Puck Pad, (RST-PAD-HPUCK-V1), stating they didn’t think the Castle Pad would safely do the job, as I need a rubber jack pad or similar between the Rennstand and pinch weld pad, and a hockey puck wouldn’t fit securely on the Castle Pad. I just got the Puck Pad to test today and it appears it will be a perfect solution for the rear of the car. Plan is to get the rear jacked up using a Rennstand, with a rubber jack pad sitting in the Puck Pad giving me enough height to place another Rennstand on the front jack point, then go back to the rear and lower that Rennstand so the car is stable. Ordered 3 more Puck Pads this evening, now comfortable this solution will work on this 2nd car. I didn’t expect such a fast, comprehensive and thorough response! A quality product with equally impressive customer service!”
